12. Prior approval should be obtained

(1) No person shall search, dig or remove soil, stone, sand or any other mineral deposits within the park without obtaining the prior approval of the Government of Nepal.
(2) If anyone wants to do any work related to research within the park, he can do so after obtaining the approval of the Government of Nepal and in such a case, he has to submit a copy of the research done to the Government of Nepal.
